| Originally from Bay City, I currently live deep in a woody swamp in the Greater Winn Metro area. A CMU grad (BS ‘92; MA ‘98) in English/creative writing, painting was a lost dream. But, I found that dream in a skunk cabbage flower ten springs ago and painting took off. Watercolor is my new love and I’ve been playing around with watercolor on the leaves, which started as little pressed acrylic canvases. Currently I am working on watercolor commissions, teaching watercolor along with writing classes (Mid Michigan College and Montcalm Community College, respectively) and planning a larger work combining my poetry and flash fiction with watercolor. | ||||||||||||||
